Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Nolan Street at 2:48 a.m. Sunday morning with a report that someone had been shot.
When police arrived, they discovered a victim with gunshot wounds to the lower extremities.
Prior to being transported to UF Health by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue, the victim told Jacksonville Sheriff's Officers that he'd been robbed at gunpoint and shot while running away from his attacker, somewhere near Nolan Street.
